Hey I am new to the site and when i played college football i messed my shoulder up and now I am wondering what i should do as far as lifting, should i pre exhaust my muscle with isolation movements and proceeed to the all around developement when my muscle are fatigued,

I think it depends on what kind of injury you're talking about here. And what the pain is like.

Welcome, yes we need to know the extent of the injury... and have you had surgery on it?

I have had a bad rotator cuff for years. I pretty much just make sure it's adequately warmed up before my working sets. Also, i stop as soon as there is any pain. Hasn't really bothered me lately tho. I also stick to plate loaders and cables for them.

I'd suggest you go to a sports Doctor and get it checked.

I am currently doing this for my shoulder.
