| I say eat some protein before bed. You don't want your body to go into starvation mode. Try cottage cheese or something similar to that. |

| Protein before bed is good but you want to eat slow digesting protein. Cottage Cheese is perfect for this. |

| Casin protien shakes work as well, which is just a slow digesting whey protien shake. it got too costly though for me to keep it up |

| I don't really know exactly, but I would imagine has to do with how complex the protein is, much like complex and simple carbs. anyhow slow digesting protien is for you when you want to have nutrition delivered to your body over time, very ideal for in the mornings or before bed. where as regular protien and ionized protien (I think it is called) in the shakes is more of a here and now, like I just worked out and I want you digested in my body know |
