Don't look at the scale... look in the mirror, muscle weighs more than fat.... _________________

u needto build up muscle to keep the body weight down (more muscle = u burn more cal just sitting or even sleeping)
if u just do cardio.. once u stop, ur weight and BF will go back up |

I am trying to loose some pounds for summer. I go running every night for my exercise because that is the best and probably only time for me to go. I am worried that my diet is bad. I try to cut down on everything I eat. Typically for lunch I will eat a sandwich consisting of turkey; possibly some fruit, and water. Then for dinner I have 6 inch tuna on wheat with no cheese and light mayo. Can I have some help on dieting and maybe some diet tips? Thank you. _________________ high blood pressure cure |

eat 6- 7 small meals a day
try to aviod sugar( like candy and pop)
Aviod high fat food
drink lots of water (but not too much b/c water posioning)
n about running... just watch out for knees problem.. because heavy people when they run... the impact put on the knees are very great... so the joint will act up after a while... so watch out |

Probrably waaaaay too late to be saying this, but that is what I did (spent 3 whole months june-sept 07) doing nothing but cardio and got myself down to 9 1/2 stone, before beefing myself back up again, and Im glad I took the time out to do so.
I personally found it VERY difficult to gain muscle without the excess fat (around ma belly ) so I felt the break was justified. _________________ "Nudge, nudge, wink, wink. Know what I mean?" |
