Lately I've been doing much better. I feel like I have a good organized routine, and I am controlling my diet a lot better. The last journal I wrote was sort of scattered with different goals, which is why I decided to make a new topic for it.
For this journal, I am going to type in as much of what I do that is involved in fitness as I can. I think with not putting it all in before, I was allowing myself to get in little cheats, which I shouldn't be able to do now.
So far I have done some exercise today, but don't quite have my accurate weight which I should be able to get later on. But, each day, I will put the date, and continue to add things throughout the day to include everything that I do. |

March 10
5:00 am get up, eat banana
5:30 Weight Training:
Wide Gripped Pull downs superset with Close gripped bench press:
90 x 12 / 135 x 12
180 x 12 / 135 x 12
250 x 10 / 135 x 8 (Performed a couple extremely slow CG bench reps that caused me to lose reps, but I was still satisfied)
320 x 0 My uncle did them, but I could only strain / 185 x 4.
Bent over DB Rows superset with CG Cable Push Downs:
60 x 12 explosive with each arm / 90 x 12 slow reps
60 x 12 / 140 x 6
30 minutes of practicing karate, included forearm toughening by my uncle and I hit forearms together, as if blocking on different angles of our forearms. Then we each practiced each Kata that we have learned so far. Since he has been consistently taking karate for longer than me, he will be taking his orange belt in 4 to 5 weeks, and is currently yellow. I will be taking my yellow belt in 1 to 2 weeks. So he knows more Katas than I, so I practiced each of mine multiple times.
8:00 Coffee, 5 egg whites fried in margarine with 1 yolk mixed in. And 1 whole wheat bagel with margarine. |

1:00 pm Meal of potatoes, corn, and pork. Not the best selection, but there isn't much of a selection for me today.
Checked my weight when I took my grandmother to the doctor. Last time I weighed myself on a doctor's scale, I was 287 pounds. Today I weighed in at 301. But my waist size is still getting smaller, so I'm not worried, and I'm quite a bit stronger than I used to be, so it must be a lot of muscle growth. |
