I am 17 years old and deciding to start a new workout routine. I've also decided keep a journal of all the things that im doing.
I came across this workout online and im gonna see if its any good. you can find it at www.iwantsixpackabs.com. This is gonna be a 16 week workout routine. At the end of 16 weeks im hoping to get my bf down to 9% or lower and be able to see abs.
current weight: 170lbs
height:5.8"
Body Fat: 17%
today i did some resistance training.
All exercises are done in supersets with a 45 second break after each superset and 3 rounds of each.
first superset
-Standard push ups x 20
-Body squat x20
second superset
-Stationary lunges x15
-Chin ups x15
third superset
-burpees x15
-plank 45 seconds
This took 20 min and it was a lot more tiring then expected. After the workout i had a scoop of iso-pro low carb and 5g of glutamine. |

Welcome to the forum. Nice to see another Journal. I look forward to reading about your results.
Just remember that Abs is another muscle and needs recovery time, and since 9% is a pretty low number you'll probably need a strict diet. After all, over half the battle is outside the gym. But, keep at it, and it's definitely attainable.
Happy Training |

Thanks for the comments guys,
I've been really tired from work the last two days ( its the end of the crabbing season and we pulled up 200 traps from the water) because of this i skipped yesterdays workout but i was able to finish my resistance training today. As for my diet, Its not great because i have to eat what my mom cooks. I try and avoid junk food and only drink water.
I took a picture today but i cant post it until i find my usb cable. |

| I can understand not wanting to train from pulling traps, it is pretty exhausting. But there still try to make it to the gym whenever you can. You may not want or feel like going, but you'll have more satisfaction after you do go. |
