| hey, is it ok if i do bench press? since im only 14 so far ive been using dumbells in each hand 15-20 lbs how much should i start on bench press? |

Sure you can work the bench press... If you're wondering how much weight I would definitely start low. Don't push yourself too hard either. _________________ Just one man's opinion!!

I would worry about building your muscles too large for your body. In any of your workouts I would tend to suggest higher reps with lighter weight. This method is more focused on toning rather than building size and muscle mass. It's a good addition to a cardio workout for someone who is trying to lose weight, like yourself.
If you really want to do some serious lifting you should consult a doctor about what would be safe for you.
Did we mention before that your diet will play a crucial part in your weight loss goals? Do you have a good diet plan? |

| I agree with these guys--at your age, you should keep the weights fairly light with high reps for now. Do you have any kind of workout schedule or a weightlifting course to help you? |
